Adjusting the Asset Homesick Time Period

Owners and managers have the ability to adjust the Homesick alert time period, in two different ways: organization-wide (for all categories), or individually for each asset category.

Homesick refers to an asset that has been away from its Home Location for a period greater than that determined by its Asset Category. By default, this period is set at 14 days.

To customize your Homesick alert time period:

• Log in (*Only owners and managers have the ability to adjust this measure)

• From the "settings" menu in the lower left corner, select "Organization"

• Click on the "edit" button in the upper right corner to edit your organization details

• Customize your default homesick days by increasing or decreasing the period of days before an asset will be flagged as "homesick"

  • If you wish to set the time frame for ALL categories, click on "submit" to save your changes
    
    
    
• If you wish to customize homesick days per category, click on "Add Category", select the asset category that you wish to customize from the dropdown menu, and adjust the homesick days to your desired length. Save changes to complete the setup, and then click on "Submit" to confirm.
