1. PREPARE the Kahi Tracking Beacon by inserting the battery. Ensure battery is inserted correctly, with the plus side facing UP - The "+" side of the battery needs to touch the "+" side of the metal battery casing. Press down on sleeve to ensure good contact, and screw cap on tight
2. PHYSICALLY attach the tracking beacon to your asset (1 beacon per asset) using the provided screws. Install in a location that is protected to avoid getting damaged by impact. We have a Google Drive of suggested locations available for assistance. Be cautious to avoid damaging the beacon casing
3. PROVISION asset to your Kahi account, using the Kahi Configuration App:
   1. Open the App, tap the menu option in upper left and select “Assets”
   2. Tap the + button from the bottom right corner
   3. Choose whether you are adding a catalogued or uncatalogued asset (catalogued are branded assets with an ID plate, uncatalogued assets are more general items - ladders, garbage cans, etc)
   4. Take a clear picture of the cataloged asset ID plate
   5. Confirm asset details and Home Warehouse; SUBMIT. If branding details aren’t included in the ID plate or aren’t legible, the asset can be manually identified using the drop-downs, or as “unidentified” for our team to review later. Use of the Kahi Asset Model Report can help with determining if we have the brand in our catalog
   6. “Do you want to attach an Inventory Tag or Beacon” - tap YES, then SCAN QR code on the tracking beacon
   7. If the tracking beacon is ONLINE (battery installed, and communicating with your Warehouse Gateway) it will accept the beacon and is now trackable
   8. Steps for uncatalogued assets are similar, however asset Group and Category will need to be manually chosen. Use of the Kahi Asset Categories Report can help with determining if we have the brand in our catalog

4. ADD additional pictures for each asset: ID Plate, Beacon placement, and Full Asset

5. COMPLETE for each asset in your inventory
