The report center is available to Kahi account owners and managers. Other user types will not have access to create or generate reports.
Our report feature allows you to create, review and schedule reports.
With increased visibility on your inventory and assets locations, you can stay on top of your business needs, make well-informed decisions, and better manage budget and project expectations.
CREATE
Create 10 unique reports for your inventory management, offsite assets, warehouse assets, offline assets, and unconfirmed locations. Reports can be downloaded into HTML, CSV, and PDF format (accessible under "actions" once the report is created).
REVIEW
Need specific information for your operations team reviewing serial numbers? You now have the flexibility to choose only the relevant information per report. Make multiple reports tailored to different teams and use cases.
SCHEDULE
Schedule reports so you always stay on top of things. Need to know what locations were unconfirmed after the end of the business day? Offline assets on a daily basis?
Schedule reports as frequently (or as infrequently) as desired and have it accessible within the app — easy to view, easy to action.
To access reports:
- Log into Kahi
- Select “Reports” from the left-side menu bar
You will have the choice between 2 viewing options:
- Generated reports - reports generated instantly
- Scheduled reports - reports created and scheduled to be generated on a specific timeline
To create a report:
- Click on the green “New Report” button in the upper right corner of the Reports page
- Select a New Report from Template:
- Asset Availability: a summary of assets available for deployment from warehouses
- Asset Categories: a list of asset categories supported within Kahi
- Asset Models: a list of all the asset models cataloged within Kahi
- Assets at Home: a summary of assets that are presently in their home (warehouse) location
- Assets Offsite: a summary of assets that are not presently in their home (warehouse) location
- Asset Summary: a summary of all assets within the organization
- Deleted Items: a list of items (assets, vehicles, warehouses, job sites) that have been deleted
- Hardware Summary: a list of items purchased and the relevant serial numbers
- Offline Assets: a summary of assets presently offline
- Unconfirmed Locations: a summary of locations that have not yet been confirmed
- Unserialized Assets: a list of cataloged asset (asset model present) where the serial number is missing
- User Access Report: a list of users, roles, and location access
Hovering on the template you choose will give you the option to “Generate Now” or “Schedule”
“Generate Now”:
- Enter a report title or leave blank for an auto-generated title
- Deselect data that you wish to remove from the report once it is generated
- Some reports will require additional parameters; if they do, these fields will appear below the data selections. Most reports, however, only ask for a title and data selection.
- Click “Generate Report”; the reports list will automatically update and display the new report at the top
- You can now view this report under the “Generated Reports” tab.
- Generated reports can be “Downloaded”, “Opened in another tab”, or “Deleted” by hovering over the report name:
- Generated reports can also be searched using the general search bar, or by filtering by type.
- You can also select multiple reports at once by clicking on “Select Multiple Reports”. This will give you the option to mass-select reports to mass-delete from your reporting tab.
- You can now view this report under the “Generated Reports” tab.
"Schedule":
- Enter a schedule title or leave blank for an automatically generated title. This title will not affect the title of the reports generated by the schedule; the reports will be given an automatically generated title.
- Select your “scheduled report date”. This date is the date in which the schedule starts. No reports will be generated before this date has passed.
- Select your “scheduled report time”. This is the time of day you want the report to be generated. You can also adjust the Time Zone - this will affect all date/time fields of a schedule including when the report will be generated.
“Repeat On”: you can choose between a weekly or monthly option for the report to be generated on.
- WEEKLY: Choose a selection of weekdays for the report to be generated on. At least ONE day must be selected and will be the day(s) that the report is generated. Choose the schedule of how often it is generated by so many weeks (every 1 week, every 2 weeks, etc)
- MONTHLY: Similar to above, but on a monthly schedule (by date vs. day). If you select a month day that is past the last day of the month, the report will be generated on the last day of the month. (ie. if you select the 31st, the report will be generated on the 30th for months with 30 days)
- Report data is the same as when you generate a report. Deselect which information you do not wish to include in your scheduled report. This will be the information displayed on each of the reports generated by the schedule.
- Select “Schedule Report”.
- You can now view this report under your “Scheduled Reports” tab.
- Scheduled reports can be edited or deleted by hovering over the report name:
- Scheduled reports can also be searched using the general search bar, or by filtering by type.
- You can also select multiple reports at once by clicking on “Select Multiple Reports”. This will give you the option to mass-select reports to mass-delete from your reporting tab.
