In the event a tracked warehouse is no longer needed, follow the steps below to successfully remove it from your account (and billing).
Permission Requirements: Managers and Owners
Needs: Web App and Configuration App access
- Log into your Kahi Web App account.
- Click on "Assets" from the left side menu.
- Select the Warehouse you wish to remove in the dropdown "bullseye" menu in the upper left. This will display all assets currently assigned to that warehouse.
- Click the top "check box" to select all assets listed (you can adjust the items displayed at the bottom right to show/select more), or select individual assets (All assets assigned to a warehouse that is being removed will need to be reassigned).
- Click on "Edit Home Location" button that appears after selecting assets. Select the warehouse from the dropdown that you wish to reassign the assets to, and Save.
- Repeat until all assets assigned to the warehouse being removed have been reassigned.
- Log into your Kahi Configuration App.
- Tap "Gateways" from the upper left menu; under the "Warehouse" tab, find and tap the Warehouse gateway you are removing.
- Tap the green "uninstall" button. The Gateway has now been uninstalled from the Warehouse.
- Log back into the Web App. Click on "Warehouses" tab on the left, and select the Warehouse you wish to delete.
- Click on the "three dot" menu at the top right corner of the Warehouse details, and select "Delete".
- Warehouse uninstall and removal is now completed; your monthly billing will be automatically adjusted.
