Alerts are displayed upon initial sign in to the Kahi web app. If you've navigated away from the initial page, click on the "Kahi" sign in the upper left corner to bring the view back to display the alerts again.
Each alert panel is actionable - click on the alert and you will be brought to the task that needs to be completed/reviewed.
Below is the list of current alerts that could be displayed in your Kahi account:
Low Battery Assets Alert: Indicates that the battery power for a particular asset is at a low level, and will soon need to be replaced.
Critical Battery AssetsAlert: Indicates that the battery power for a particular asset is at a critical level, and can impact tracking; battery will need to be replaced immediately to ensure continued tracking ability.
Homeless Assets Alert: Assets that do not have a Home Location set when it was created in Kahi. These assets should be reviewed and assigned a Home Location.
Homesick Assets Alert: Assets that have been away from their Home Location for a period greater than that determined by its Asset Category (default period is two weeks). These assets should be reviewed in case they need to be physically found/returned to the warehouse.
Orphaned Assets Alert: Assets that have an "unknown" last location. Typically the location has not yet been confirmed as a job site in the app; once it is confirmed, the asset will snap to the updated location and no longer be orphaned. These assets should be reviewed, and their locations confirmed in the app.
Unconfirmed Locations Alert: Locations that have not yet been reviewed, and could be potential job sites. These should be reviewed daily/frequently, to prevent assets from becoming orphaned.
Offline Fixed Gateways Alert: Warehouse/location gateway that is no longer online; it should be checked to ensure it is properly powered and/or connected to the WiFi. See this article for more details.
Offline Mobile Gateways Alert: Vehicle gateway that is not currently online; indicates that the vehicle has not been in use for a period of time or the OBD port connection is loose/disconnected (possibly requiring further investigation if its offline for any other reason). It should be checked to ensure it is properly powered/connected.
New Locations Alert: A list of locations that have been created in the last 48 hours. This can include unconfirmed locations, but can also include locations that were created by Encircle (if your Kahi account is integrated with your Encircle account).
Unidentified Assets Alert: A list of assets that we were unable identify the manufacturer and model automatically in our backend through our new provisioning process (likely due to the original picture not being clear enough for the OCR technology). These assets should be reviewed and updated. Edit the asset information to update the correct model and manufacturer.
