Experiencing some issues with your Kahi beacons? Read below for some troubleshooting tips and tricks.
Issue: Beacon is not coming online when provisioning the beacon to an asset with the mobile app
Suggestion: When scanning in a beacon, it may take a minute for the beacon to come online for the first time.

Ensure the battery is installed in the beacon correctly (battery + side up) and is within range of an online Warehouse gateway
- Tip: A blue light will briefly flash under the battery when inserted correctly, and can be seen in low-light.

Install a different battery, if you have confirmed that the battery is correctly inserted and nothing changes.
- If a different battery doesn't work, try replacing the beacon with another one.
- Tip: Check the beacon's metal casing - if the metal portion is loose, it may be causing a loose connection with the battery.
- If a different battery doesn't work, try replacing the beacon with another one.
The blue light will flash under the white bottom (best seen in low-light).
Make sure the screw (seen on the left in picture above) is tight, and press the top of the metal down to ensure good contact).

Please call š or email š§ us at support@kahi.io with the beacon MAC address (this is the string of numbers and letters on the top of the beacon) on the units that are affected.
- While we investigate the beacon, we ask for you to test the batteries with a multi-meter to confirm if the battery is dead (if this is available to you). More likely than not, the issue will be with the battery rather than the beacon itself, and this will help us determine that.
